S-Leadership: “The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.” - Bruce Lee

How often do we think to ourselves that the "Average" man is a "Warrior"?  I think if you asked most average men if they thought they were a warrior they would say "No".  But why do you think they would answer that way?  Do you think some men lack the self confidence? Or maybe some men just don't see that within themselves?  I'm not sure why they don't see it within themselves, but I do know what an important lesson Bruce Lee is trying to teach us with this quote.

An "Average" man can be a "Warrior" in his own life if he is willing to focus on the things that are important to him.  What does it mean to have a laser like focus? Does that mean you are easily distracted by the things going on in your life?  Or even the things going on around you for that matter?  "No" it means that you know and accept what it is that you want in life, that you're focused and your intentions, thoughts, and actions are all pointed towards your goals.

Some people might look at this and think this a bad thing, that everyone should be more well rounded and just be content with their life.  But I would beg to ask those who think this quote is bad or who are just willing to be complacent in their lives this question...  If you are'nt "Living" your life and trying to make yourself better, achieve your goals, and helping others by sharing your knowledge, and helping them to achieve their goals then what are you doing with your life?  Is being "Complacent" anyway to "Live" a life?

We each only have so much "Time" on this earth.  We don't know when our time is up, and we don't know how much time we have, but one thing we can all agree on is that time is one of our most precious commodities, so why waste your "Time" here being "Complacent"?

Be the average man with a laser like focus on your goals, on learning, on making yourself better, and for helping others.  "Be" that average man and start living "Your" life.  Then you will see how the average man becomes a warrior.

As always thanks for your time, and for choosing to spend a few of your minutes here with me.
