  3. Implement better monitoring and metric tools to proactively watch your trouble areas in the organization.
  4. Regular Disaster Recovery drills at all levels of the organization.
  5. Making Disaster Recovery a priority in your organization at all levels.
  6. Reviewing Federal, State, Local, and Organizational rules and guidelines quarterly.
  7. Take an active stance on Disaster Recovery awareness and education, instead of a reactive stance when something goes wrongs or a disaster occurs.
  8. Give incentives to people within the organization that help to solve or find new ways to prevent  Disaster Recovery choke points or issues.
  9. Make sure that everyone in the organization understands that Disaster Recovery is everyone's concern, not just one person or one group's concern.
  10. Look for alternative and cost effective solutions to the solutions you already have in place for Disaster Recovery.  Remember Disaster Recovery is an every changing and so should be the adaptive solutions you and your team are putting in place.
