Today's Topic is "Ways to Combat Fear".
- Take Action - If you fear something then look it in the eye and move towards it. You should never let fear rule your life. So take active steps to conquer the fears in your life each and every day. "You" rule your fears, they don't rule you.
- Planning - I've often found that if you have a solid plan in place that usually helps you mitigate some of the fear of what you are trying to accomplish.
- Pondering - Take a moment to think about consequences of what you are about to do. Is this something you really want to do? Is this a fear you are willing to have for the rest of your life?
- Make a choice before you are in the situation. - If you decide how you are going to react to a choice and make a decision before it is presented to you, then once it is presented to you, you will know already how to respond.
- Reality - What is the reality of the situation? Not what you want it to be, but what it truly is.
- Perseverance - If you are willing to persist at something to achieve your goal, then how much room is left for fear?
- Determination - If you are determined to achieve your goals or overcome a fear at all costs then how long do you think you will have to fear?
- Mind Set - If your mind is laser focused on what you want and you have "Persistence" and "Determination" you would be surprised at what you can achieve.
- Self Talk - What is the message you are telling yourself in your head? If it's not a positive message you need to change your message.
- Believe in Yourself - I think this one goes without saying. If you don't believe in yourself, who else do you think is going to believe in you?
