Today's Thought is "How the U.S.P.S. Could Use Social Media To Do Things Better."
- Use it for real time updates on packages.
- Use it to monitor customer complaints and customer satisfactions.
- Help to decide new stamps through online polls and contests.
- To send out mass communications to customers if they can't make it for some reason such as extreme weather or some other kind of natural disaster.
- To show beautiful pictures of some of the things the carriers get to see on a daily basis.
- Notify customers of new Federal laws or regulations as it applies to their mail.
- To build good testimonials of their service.
- Notify customers of upcoming rate changes.
- To develop new service areas geographically.
- To find which new services they should add, or which old services they should do away with.
