Today's Thought is "How the U.S.P.S. Could Use Social Media To Do Things Better."

  1. Use it for real time updates on packages.
  2. Use it to monitor customer complaints and customer satisfactions.
  3. Help to decide new stamps through online polls and contests.
  4. To send out mass communications to customers if they can't make it for some reason such as extreme weather or some other kind of natural disaster.
  5. To show beautiful pictures of some of the things the carriers get to see on a daily basis.
  6. Notify customers of new Federal laws or regulations as it applies to their mail.
  7. To build good testimonials of their service.
  8. Notify customers of upcoming rate changes.
  9. To develop new service areas geographically.
  10. To find which new services they should add, or which old services they should do away with.
