I'm curious to see how you use your Sunday?
I know some people look at it as the "End" of their week and it's their day to relax and catch up on things or to spend with family.
Other see it as the "Start" of their week and they sit down and start planning and laying their week out.
To be honest I've seen it both ways in my life. As a child, young adult, and even an adult till I was about 32 I saw it as the end of my week and I wanted to do nothing more then to make it to Sunday so I could just chill out and veg for a day. It also was the day that I used to started dreading Monday.
But about 32 to 40 I saw it as the start of my week. I would sit down and plan out my week, I'd start to look forward to all of the things I was going to get done this week and it helped me to set some direction for my life for that week.
But still I didn't feel like I was using Sunday for how I should be using it.
So now that I am 40+ (I know what you're thinking right now... How old is this guy? He doesn't seem that old... To the later statement I would say "Thank You".) I've tried to use Sunday in a new way. I mix the two together to try and get the best of both mindsets. While I still have a lot of demands on Sunday for my time, I also try to make time each Sunday to plan for the week ahead and to strive to make sure my life has the proper direction it needs for the week.
But I also try to spend as much time as I can with my family and friends and relax as much as possible on Sunday's as well.
Why this isn't perfect, (and I seriously doubt it ever will be.) I'm trying to be a lot more "intentional" about how I spend my time and what I do with the time I've been given.
So tell me what is your mindset about your Sunday?
What are some of the things you do on Sunday to prep for the week ahead?
What are some of the things you do on Sunday to rest, relax, and have a little fun?
